Day 8 of Vacation - Cruise Day 5 Panama Canal Lunch

After waking up at 4:30am to look at the Gatun Locks on the eastern entrance of the Panama Canal a short nap was in order prior to lunch, today we decided to have lunch in the dining room as opposed to the buffet. (Reviews in red are by Helen)

Apricot Bruschetta with Brie Gratin – Warm, not quite what was expected.  You could taste all the flavours.  There was sufficient apricot jam under the cheese. It was good to try once. 70/100

Rigatoni in four cheese sauce with Fontina, Gruyere, Provolone, and Reggiano – A growing trend with the pastas on this cruise, the noodles are generally cooked properly however the “cheese” sauces there only appears to be one no matter what the name, was a decent appetizer no more no less. 70/100

Breaded Turkey Scaloppine with Mozzarella Melt – It was a little soggy with not much in the way of crunch, it was nothing memorable. 60/100

Peach Crisp with Cinnamon and Oats -

Cream Puff Swan with Chocolate Sauce – The profiterole was slightly soggy and not crisp.
