Quite the interesting menu tonight, Surf and Turf ! And not on the last formal night either !
Crabmeat, Apple, and Melon Balls, Lemon Dressing - The cantaloupe didn’t quite work for this dish, without the melons it would have been better with a stronger citrus dressing. 78/100
Chilled tropical fruit soup with Vanilla Aroma – Very similar to the other fruit soups very nice fruit flavor, but no vanilla at all. 75/100
Surf & Turf, Beef Fillet Mignon and Jumbo Shrimp - The beef was perfectly cooked and the béarnaise sauce was very pleasant, I felt my shrimp was overcooked as it was a bit tough, however other people at the table felt the shrimp was alright. 80/100
Original Sacher Torte – Had a good chocolate taste but was not sweet. 80/100
